Senior DevOps Engineer

Position summary:
Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for delivering and operating various application platform services for our customer – a leading video game industry company from the US. Senior DevOps Engineer would be in charge of developing and maintaining automation for operating our customer’s largescale geographically distributed private cloud infrastructure, as well as managing the application platform and auxiliary services for customer’s artificial intelligence initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of various tools for managing and automating customer’s private cloud platform in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) manner
- MLOps platform design, deployment and support for customer’s AI initiative
- Providing DevOps services and support to customer’s development teams
- Continuous education and occasional certification related to the technologies used in day-to-day work
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a systems engineer / DevOps position, preferably in a consulting services organization, telco/cloud provider or a medium/large enterprise
- Experience with designing, implementing and operating production Kubernetes environments
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with Git and at least one CI/CD tool (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Experience in Linux Server administration
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and application delivery fundamentals
- Knowledge of information security good practices in private cloud environments
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field
- Previous private cloud / data center systems administration experience (enterprise storage systems, virtualization platforms)
- Kubernetes certifications (e.g. CKA, CKAD)
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools (e.g. ArgoCD / OpenShift GitOps, Flux)
- Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
- MLOps experience
