AgAR – Universal Autonomous Agricultural Robot
Agricultural robots are autonomous or semi-autonomous devices that perform various tasks in agriculture, facilitating difficult physical tasks and increasing production efficiency. These robots are being developed using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, high precision sensors and satellite positioning and navigation. They represent a revolution in agriculture, transforming the way food is produced.
COMING Computer Engineering saw the solution to that problem in the development of a fully electric universal agricultural robot that will use attachments for precision agriculture (vineyard pruning, laser weeding…) as well as traditional agricultural attachments that are already used on tractors, small and medium farms enable the robotization of the activities they perform.
Features of the robot:
Battery swap technology, which enables fast battery replacement, with three battery packs provides the possibility of 24 hours of autonomy. What differentiates AgAR from all currently available robots on the market is the change in clearance, i.e. changing the height of the platform from the ground. AgAR is able to change the clearance from 115 to 750mm in a short time and thus adapt to different agricultural crops as well as performing different activities at different heights. In addition to stability, the change in clearance allows him to use traditional attachment machines without the use of hydraulics. By automatically raising and lowering the entire platform, the optimal working position is maintained. AgAR is driven by high power engines (4 engines of 1.5kw) with a maximum speed of 1.8m/s and a payload of 500 kilograms.
