Summary:

Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, delivering and operating various services which are a part of our enterprise cloud offering tailor made for our customers – companies of various verticals and sizes in the Adriatic region, EU and USA.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of new and maintenance of existing cloud services
- Development and maintenance of various tools for managing and automating cloud platform operations
- Participation in cloud migration projects in design, delivery and support phases
- Providing technical support for cloud customers throughout their service lifecycle
- Providing technical support to the sales team throughout the pre-sales process
- Continuous education and occasional certification related to the technologies used in day-to-day work
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a systems engineer position, preferably in a telcо/cloud provider or medium/large enterprise
- Experience in VMware vSphere and underlying datacenter infrastructure, especially storage systems and SAN
- Experience with Veeam portfolio of backup / DR solutions
- Experience in Windows and Linux Server administration
- Experience with at least one scripting or IaC tool (eg. PowerShell, bash, Terraform)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking basics
- Knowledge of information security good practices in cloud environments
- Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience with VMware solutions for cloud providers (eg. Cloud Director, Cloud Director Availability)
- Previous experience with Veeam Cloud Connect
- Previous experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift or VMware Tanzu
- IT certifications (e.g. VMware, Veeam, CompTIA etc.)
